Santa Barbara Courthouse
This is the fabulous Santa Barbara Courthouse, built after the 1925 earthquake ruined much of the city to a Spanish-Moorish style (the Spanish where the first Europens to discover this part of the west coast, apparently). This is taken from the sunken gardens to the rear of the Courthouse where the original 1872 building stood unti lthe ‘quake. The sun is at around the 3pm position from my viewpoint so much part of this was in shade.
